The inclusion of self-reported health into cross-country population surveys has contributed to substantial progress in the social science, public and epidemiology fields. Measuring is a cost-effective method gain information on individual-health status. measurement however not without flaws. In this glossary we provide basic definition health. Cross-country that contain data are discussed. We highlight limitations advantages using measure. Other aspects related discussed, including importance for future long COVID-19 investigations.
